The B&B “A Casa di Lucio and Giuliana” has tried to be more involved with environmental issues, in recent years. Our love for nature accompanies us in all that we do, we work in full compliance with the environmental legislation by implementing all the measures aimed at reducing pollution. We constantly monitor the energy consumption of the entire structure and we are very committed to reduce the impact that our business generates on the environment.
In this regard, we have installed solar panels and a condensing boiler to be able to produce hot water and we have installed led bulbs in all the rooms and common areas.
In order to reduce our water consumption, water-efficient fittings and irrigation systems for the outside green areas have been installed and the external areas are being cleaned with well water.
Also, the class A++ conditioning system allows a significant reduction in consumption.
The B&B intends to continue its environmental improvement process by establishing clear objectives, discouraging the use of the car by offering its guests a limited number of bicycles free of charge, separate waste collection, use of non-plastic dish ware, change of towels every two days and finally the use of soap and detergents with a low environmental impact.
